AUTUMN PALETTE

Yup, the summer is gone, which means the make-up game is changing. That should have sounded more positive, because… No more fear of face melting. It is time to recall your own inner artist and play with the layers of your favorite make-up tools. We have found some inspirational works for different looks and we hope you'll enjoy them too. We do not own any of the photos included. Enjoy.

1.       MAKE IT OMBRE

Many brands have launched their special ombre eye shadow palettes. You can create ombre effect combining any lighter and darker shades. To keep it casual, simply don't overuse any darker shade and keep the lighter tones in the corner of the eyes and near the brows. You can play with the almighty highlighter here, too. Choose more dramatic look and darker shades for the evening look. And instead of classic brown and grey shades, you might choose more often refreshing shimmer shades of red and blue.

You can create that ombre effect with your lips too, keeping the darker tones on the edge of the lips. Combining lip pencils and different lipstick while finishing it all with a simple glow, the choice is always yours. The ''ombre'' makes the full lip effect and it looks more attractive than a raw lip pencil edge.

2.       THE ''GLOW''

Highlighters, shimmer eye shadows, lip gloss, it's all coming back stronger than ever. The advantage of highlighters is their multi function: they give that healthy tan look and hide the eye bags. Shimmer eye shadows are usually easy to apply and give that instant neat, rich and perfect look. You can play with matte and shimmer tones, just make sure you don't sparkle like Edward under the Twilight sun.

3.  CHEATING THE BLACK

Though nothing can beat the black eyeliner, it doesn't mean you shouldn't go with some cobalt or emerald tones for example. There are getting more and more popular, just like colorful mascaras, because they simply look stunning.

4.       CASUAL NUDE

The autumn brings back darker lip  tones such as rusty rouge, crimson, berry or deep wine color. Still, for a more casual and everyday look you might want to go for a more natural lips. And it doesn't have to be boring. When choosing the perfect nude lipstick, try combining cool pink lipstick with darker toned lip pencil, mixing brown with cool matte shades... The trick is not to go too pink or too brown. Go for warmer undertones with orange hints if it goes with your skin type. Matte or glossy, the right shade always looks…just right.

5.       BRONZE FOREVER

The summer tan might be wearing off, keep your bronzer anyway. Those who are more of a pale and cool skin type might just go for a simple blush, but keeping the traces of bronzer through contouring can beautifully accentuate the whole look. It is always about keeping it moderate and finding your own perfect shade.

Hope you'll find your own perfect autumn palette! We'll sure be searching for more!
